(Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Takanori Sato) regarding the transfer of two business segments as indicated below.
1. Objectives of transfer of influencer marketing business
ValueCommerce has acquired the Monicam (https://monicam.jp) and Cast book (https://castbook.jp) services* operated by 018 with the aim of expanding business within the influencer marketing domain and maximizing profit.
2. Contents of business transfer
ValueCommerce has acquired Monicam and Cast book, influencer matching services provided by 018 for websites and social media accounts. From May 2024, both of these services will be operated by ValueCommerce. A press release will be issued at a later date with the exact date from which ValueCommerce will operate the services.
3. Background of business transfer
ValueCommerce has been helping companies maximize their own distribution business through affiliate marketing and more. It has collaborated with various media and enhanced integration by developing unique and proprietary options. Media is evolving, and in addition to traditional web media, the information shared by social media users and influencers on social media has become tremendously influential.
By enhancing its influencer marketing, ValueCommerce will be able to better showcase advertisers’ products and services to even more consumers, so it decided to acquire these services to help expand its customers’ distribution activities.
