Following a resolution of a regular meeting of the Board of Directors held on October 31, ValueCommerce Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Stock Code: 2491 on TSE Mothers, President & CEO: Brian Nelson) is pleased to announce the following personnel changes:

• In line with the expansion of the business, the Company has established the new position of Chairman. Brian Nelson, the President & CEO, has been appointed to this position, which he will hold concurrently with his present responsibilities. Mr. Nelson’s new title will be Chairman & CEO.
• Ben Clark, former Director & Chief Operating Officer, was newly appointed as Director and Chief Yahoo! Officer (CYO). His responsibility will be to strengthen the alliance business with Yahoo Japan Corporation.
• Mikio Katagishi, the Senior Vice President, has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr. Katagishi will be primarily responsible for supervising all sales management, as well as supervising consulting sales- a key focus for the Company.

After graduating from university, Mikio Katagishi joined IBM Japan, Ltd. He has been actively involved in the solutions business for more than 20 years as he assumed an array of responsibilities, including General Manager, Solution Department, Communication Media, and Public Services Division. Mikio Katagishi, 47, will supervise consulting sales, a key focus for the Company, as Chief Operating Officer, where he will be primarily involved in marketing management.
