JTB Online’s GADGET website added to the ValueCommerce affiliate program

(Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Shinichi Kitagami) have been added to the ValueCommerce affiliate program. This is a first for the travel industry.
JTB Online’s GADGET website makes it easy for users to search for ryokan and hotels throughout Japan by selecting key information such as the region, date, budget and/or number of guests, and to display accommodations that match their specific requirements. Users select their preferred gadget out of three different types. By pasting the gadget onto their blog or homepage, or by adding the gadget to a customizable search portal such as Microsoft Live.com or iGoogle, the user can then receive the latest information on their favorite ryokan and hotels.
By adding JTB Online’s GADGET website to ValueCommerce’s affiliate program, affiliate partners can now earn a commission when reservations are made by configuring the information for their preferred gadget and then pasting the gadget onto their blog or homepage. Both ValueCommerce and i.JTB expect this tool to further increase the use of the handy GADGET website.

In addition, ValueCommerce has recently rolled out running banner ads embedded with Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds. These ads allow affiliate partners to refine searches for accommodations by region using criteria such as customer satisfaction, price, and/or hot springs, and to automatically display applicable hotels and accommodations. The links are permanent and no maintenance is required since the information is constantly updated.
